Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MiniDraw ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users — and especially of children.
1. Who we are
MiniDraw is made and operated by Ilya Davudov, an independent developer based in Azerbaijan, who publishes it on the App Store under that name and runs this website (prodigy.az). "Prodigy" is only the name of the website; there is no company behind it. One person decides what the app does with information, and that is the person to ask about it. Questions about this policy, or about anything described here, go to support@prodigy.az and are answered by a person.
2. Information we do not collect
MiniDraw is designed to work without collecting personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact details
- Photos, videos, or files from your device
- Location data
- Device identifiers used for advertising
- Any personal information from children
The app does not require an account, sign‑in, or registration of any kind — there is nothing to log in to.
3. What stays on your device
Drawings, projects, and app settings created in MiniDraw are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and the app offers no way to publish or share them from inside it.
4. Saving a drawing to Photos
When a child taps Save, iOS asks for permission to add the picture to your photo library, and the app saves it there. The app can only add pictures. It cannot read, browse, or send anything from your library, and it never asks for permission to do so. If permission is refused, the app simply says the drawing could not be saved.
5. Content the app downloads
Drawing kits, coloring pages, stickers, and music are downloaded from our own server at minidraw.prodigy.az over a secure (HTTPS) connection. This is what lets new kits appear without updating the app.
These requests carry nothing about the child: no names, no drawings, nothing a child types or draws. To make sure the licensed artwork in our kits reaches only the genuine MiniDraw app, the app uses Apple’s App Attest: the first time it connects, it creates a random security key on the device, and Apple confirms to our server that the key belongs to a genuine copy of the app. Our server keeps that key’s random identifier and its public part, so that later requests can be checked. It is not linked to a person, an Apple ID or any advertising identifier, it is used for nothing else, and a new one is made if the app is reinstalled. Apart from this check, nothing is uploaded from the app.
Like any web server, ours may record the ordinary technical details of a connection — such as the IP address an answer is sent to, the time, and which file was requested — as part of normal server operation. To protect the service from abuse, our server also counts requests for a short time, keeping the IP address only in a scrambled (hashed) form. We use this only to keep the service running and to protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify anyone, we do not connect it to drawings or purchases, and we do not share it with anyone.
6. Analytics and tracking
MiniDraw does not use third‑party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks. We do not track usage, crashes, or behavior across apps or websites, and we do not build profiles of the people who use the app.
7. Children's privacy
MiniDraw is intended for children. In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU GDPR, and Apple's guidelines for kids apps, we do not knowingly collect, store, or share personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Everything the app downloads comes from our own server, so no information about a child reaches a third party — because nothing about a child leaves the device at all.
8. In‑app purchases
MiniDraw offers an optional Premium subscription and a one‑time purchase that unlock additional kits and stickers. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store: we never receive or store payment details such as card numbers. Apple tells the app whether a purchase is active, and that is what unlocks the content. Purchases sit behind a parental gate — an arithmetic question a young child is unlikely to pass.
9. Third‑party services
MiniDraw includes no third‑party advertising, no social media buttons, and no third‑party content. Everything the app downloads comes from our own server. The few links that lead out of the app — to this website, or to Apple's own subscription settings — sit behind the same parental gate.
10. How long information is kept, and how to remove it
We hold no personal information about you or your child, so there is nothing for us to keep or to delete on request. In detail:
- Drawings and settings stay on the device for as long as you keep them. Deleting the app removes them, together with every kit and sticker the app had downloaded. Pictures already saved to Photos remain in your library until you delete them there.
- Technical connection records described in section 5 are handled by our hosting provider as part of running the server. They contain no names and are not linked to any person, and we keep no separate copy of them.
- Purchases are held by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us.
If you believe we hold anything about you and would like it removed, write to support@prodigy.az. We will look into it and reply.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
